Toby
Mott has however been a working artist for the past 15 years,
exhibiting his work all over the world. As a co-founder of
anarchic art group The Grey Organisation Toby lived on the
wild side, exhibiting art and sculpture whilst being a major
part of 80's London club culture. In 1986 Toby moved to New
York, and then LA, where he worked his magic at MTV. On returning
to Britain in 1995 Toby started to
produce his famous scribble Union Jack and detention line
paintings. It was the popularity of these paintings
that inspired Toby to make his work more publically accessible.
